Charlotte Church says that she thinks that her previous album was immature and songs sounded a bit young.

Charlotte Church who is currently working on her second pop album Back To Scratch says that even though she is proud of her work in the previous album but thinks that it was a bit immature.

"I wrote reasonable songs that I thought were brilliant at the time and now, on reflection, I think they sound a bit young," she told X Magazine.

"'Crazy Chick' wasn't my song. It was one of a load of songs that were just slapped on by the record company at the end. They were like 'There's no singles on this album'.

"I mean, the majority of the songs on there I loved and were really 'me', but all the singles were just slapped on by some suits."

Charlotte Church also says that she is happy with the new recording deal and is now working with far more freedom and is looking to do well with her second album.

"It's amazing. I have complete freedom," she continued. "Which could be a good thing. Or it could be a bad thing!

"But whatever it means in commercial terms doesn't really matter to me anymore."

Normally when doing their own thing in their own way stars seem to do well, but how will Charlotte Church's next album will be remains to be seen.
